Therapy Information & Practice Guidelines

A few important things to know..

Confidentiality & Ethical Practice

Your privacy is important to us. Everything shared in therapy is treated with respect and confidentiality, with limited legal and ethical exceptions that will be discussed as part of the informed consent process. Our work is guided by professional ethics, respect, and a commitment to providing a safe and compassionate therapeutic space.

Informed Consent

Before therapy begins, we'll explain the therapeutic process, fees, confidentiality, and any other important information so you can make an informed decision about your care. You're always welcome to ask questions before or during therapy.

Professional Supervision

To support ethical and effective practice, aspects of a case may occasionally be discussed anonymously during professional supervision. Your identity and personal information are never shared.

Fees, Payments, Cancellation & Rescheduling

Session fees are shared in advance. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please let us know as early as possible. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy applies.

Crisis & Emergency Support

Blooming Crescent Therapy does not provide emergency or crisis intervention services. If you are experiencing an immediate mental health emergency or are at risk of harm, please contact your local emergency services or the nearest crisis support service.
